SHIPPING CHECKLIST

How do I prepare my vehicle for shipment?

1. Please make sure there is no more than 1/4 tank of fuel residing in the vehicle. If your vehicle is ELECTRIC, we request that it be as close to fully charged as possible.

2. Please wash or spray off your vehicle and remove all trash from inside your vehicle.

3. Remove all personal items from your vehicle. If you need to include personal items, they must be secured to the trunk or reside under all windows of the vehicle, they should not exceed 100 lbs.; Posey reserves the right to charge a minimum $100 overweight fee if the vehicle is excessively packed. Absolutely NO: firearms, illegal substances, plants, alcohol, pets, flammable items or valuables should be left in the vehicle. EXCEPTION: If you are shipping overseas, ALL non- factory/manufactured items must be removed from your vehicle. **POSEY LOGISTICS INC and the Carrier we hire are not liable for any personal items that are transported.**

4. Repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. All loose parts such as antennas, spoilers, fog lights, damaged convertible tops or any other parts must be removed or secured. Posey will not be liable for damage to your vehicle or any others because of these items. Additionally all alarm systems must be turned off.

5. If the vehicle is inoperable, Posey must be notified before the shipment is agreed upon. All vehicles MUST brake, roll and steer.
